So I have been sick for a few days.... so have most of us (and our visiting family)...

I was not able to work today .... or most of this week for that matter... so I thought about sending in my backup.

Time and time again, Briam II puts on my shoes and proves a successful replacement.  More proficient than myself in many of my daily tasks, Briam II is the perfect substitute for when I am feeling under the weather.  I did sleep for 18 hours so I am feeling much better....

Just ran into this picture from a new years part we had in Florida at the beginning of the year.

They all so cute... ready to party in the new year.

We just got back from Florida earlier today... and no sleep.... so so tired.  We did manage to pick up some company for the return trip..

We got a chance to see Paola's brother Xavier and Lucy while we were down there for a few days.  We were able to kidnapped all of them but Xavier... something about having to get back to business.

It is apparent by this picutre who runs the show at home....Good night... time for some sleepy time.  But don't let that serious look fool you....she is ticklish just like all the others...

I just got a picture from my mom (Liliana).  It is a picture of my niece (Liliana).  Its a cute picture of baby Liliana eating some cereal.... that it looks like she was not supposed to get in to.  Due to some legal restrictions I am not really allowed to use the name of the brand of cereal without proper permissions...but I will give you a hint...

I thought that I was the clever one when I was a kid.... I always had a good excuse for why it was not time to sleep yet.... "...im too hot..."  "...im thirsty..."  "... i need to go to the bathroom..."   "....the room is on fire...and I need to watch tv..."

...here's one I did not have in my bag of tricks... "...how can I possibly go to sleep without another good night kiss.... "  

Sandy places call for sandy playgrounds....

...and Sandy friends.... We met another little girl who's name was also Megan only a little older (4 years old). 

After a few hours of sandy play... it was time to wash that sand down with some ice cream.

...when it was all gone, Matthew tried to convince me that that his ice cream was not really that good, and that he needed another one that would be better.  ...he almost convinced me.

"Briam.... are you dead.... you aren't updating your blog..."

Gee... thanks.  Yes I am alive... just working a bit much lately... and going out too much also.  But that is our rock-star lives... haha.

So, Still catching up... this up coming week, we are going back down to Miami, like we did for new years.  Some of our family is in town an we are going to go kidnap them and bring them back.

Here was a dinner we had when we were down there...  Enrique and Viviana let us stay with them ... (Thanks!!) ... and with the kids!! (Double Thanks!!)

Like that rare photo of the abominable snowman, so have we been able to capture a rare photo of the jolly guy himself.  No not the jolly green giant.  Santa Clause.... yes ... on Christmas eve, we were able to capture a quick picture of Santa with the Santa Cam....

He had snuck in through the glass plated chimney.... sneaky little guy.  He completely circumvented the bear trap and electric snare that we had put there to capture him..... oh well... maybe next year.  We will meet again chubby boy!!
